Memphis Public Libraries are more than just books—they’re community hubs for learning, growth, and connection. With 18 locations across Memphis and Shelby County, these libraries boast a collection of over 1 million books and 50,000+ e-books and audiobooks. Best of all, a library card is free for all residents, and you can check out up to 25 items without worrying about late fees, as the library system has eliminated them entirely.

For perfusionists, the libraries offer an incredible opportunity to study, research, and deepen your understanding of the medical field. But they’re also great places to connect with the vibrant Memphis community and explore interests beyond your profession.
